I'm just a small town, Canadian girl with passion (maybe an obsession) and a paintbrush.  

Refinishing and up-cycling furniture has evolved from my love of all things DIY.  My favorite past time is transforming an old, tired piece of furniture into something funcional and fitting with current decor! It might be shabby-chic, or sleek and modern, but no matter what - I've poured my heart and soul into the transformation.  I'm always learning new techniques from other great artists and I strive to put my name to work that I'm proud of. 

 

'Slightly Distressed'  is the name of this adventure.  It has opened up new opportunities for me to meet others in my community, teach workshops and express myself in an artistic way.
